Otto Blümel was an architect of marked artistic inclinations. He designed the "Garmisch" chair during his many years working for the Vereinigte Werkstätten in Munich. With it, he succeeded in creating an unobtrusive work of art of striking timelessness that blends in naturally with a wide variety of environments.
